Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten program offers a rich, hands-on learning experience rooted in nature and aligned with Washington State Learning Standards. Set entirely outdoors, this program combines academic excellence with the wonders of the natural world, sparking curiosity, confidence, and a love for lifelong learning.
Students explore foundational subjects—reading, writing, math, science, and social studies—through dynamic, play-based and inquiry-driven lessons. Whether counting pinecones to understand math concepts or writing journal entries under a forest canopy, children engage in meaningful activities that build core skills while nurturing their creativity and critical thinking.
Social-emotional development is woven throughout the day, supported by collaborative projects, outdoor challenges, and plenty of space for movement, expression, and reflection.
By blending academic rigor with child-led discovery and daily connection to the outdoors, our program supports the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—while preparing them for success in school and beyond.

Learning Spaces
Our covered, partially enclosed learning spaces create room for gathering, making, observing, and learning together throughout the seasons. These areas provide structure without separating children from the sights, sounds, and rhythms of the outdoors.
Nature playgrounds and mud kitchens encourage imaginative play, problem-solving, sensory exploration, and collaboration. These spaces are intentionally simple, open-ended, and inviting, allowing children to interact with materials and one another in ways that build creativity and independence.
Farm and Trail Spaces
Walking trails invite children to explore at a slower pace, notice seasonal change, and build a relationship with the land over time. These pathways create daily opportunities for movement, discovery, and reflection.
Our animal spaces introduce children to horses, chickens, goats, rabbits, and pigs, offering meaningful moments of care, observation, and connection. Through these experiences, children begin to understand responsibility, gentleness, and the interdependence of living things.
